My experience with NexGen Cloud has been nothing short of exceptional, starting from the interview process and continuing through to my initial weeks on the job. The interview process set a positive tone, with recruiter Noelia being particularly helpful and patient. Her professionalism and clear communication ensured that I was well-prepared for each stage of the interview, alleviating much of the stress typically associated with job hunting.

The onboarding experience at NexGen Cloud was impressively smooth. Before my official start date, I received access to essential tools like Slack, Jira, and email, which allowed me to familiarize myself with the company's workflow and communication channels ahead of time. This early access made my first days much more productive and helped me integrate quickly into the team.

One of the standout aspects of my initial experience has been the quality of the teams documentation. The documentation is incredibly thorough and well-organized, covering everything from technical processes to company policies. This level of detail has significantly reduced the learning curve and enabled me to contribute to the teams efforts more quickly and effectively.

HR played a crucial role in my onboarding, clearly explaining NexGen Clouds vision and future goals. Their presentation of the companys strategic direction was both inspiring and convincing, making me believe in the potential for NexGen Cloud to become a new giant in the cloud industry. This vision of innovation and growth is something I am excited to be a part of.

During my first week, I encountered an unexpected challenge: a nationwide internet outage in my country due to political unrest, which lasted for around four days. The companys response to this situation was exemplary. HR remained in constant contact with me during the outage, showing understanding and support rather than frustration. This compassionate and flexible approach not only alleviated my concerns but also reinforced my positive impression of NexGen Cloud as a company that genuinely cares about its employees.

My experience with NexGen Cloud has been truly outstanding so far. Here are some key highlights from my journey:

Interview Process: The interview process at NexGen cloud is very professional and friendly I must say. Starting from the 5 minute phone call from Senior Recruiter Noelia to the Cultural Fit Interview with Kevin and Ahsan it was a very pleasant experience.

  • The interview process was very positive with Noelia's help in each stage of the interview. She was very helpful and patiently heard about my skill sets and experiences in my last job.
  • Her professionalism significantly reduced the nervousness in the interview process.

Onboarding Experience:

The onboarding process at NexGen Cloud was very smooth and straightforward. I recieved proper instructions on how to complete the contract signing and be a part of NexGen cloud.

  • Early Access: Before my official start date, I received access to essential tools like Slack, Jira, Zoom,1Password and my official Email address from Linto. He was very helpful and helped me with some issues I faced with 1Password. This early access allowed me to familiarize myself with the company's workflow and communication channels, making my first days much more productive.

Quality Documentation:

I must say in my Professional life so far I have never come across so well organized Documentation system that NexGen Cloud offers. From product documentation to company policies, all are well organized and easy to understand. This level of detail has greatly shortened the learning curve and enabled me to contribute to the teams efforts more quickly and effectively.

HR's Role:

HR department has played a very important role by introducing me to the company products and employee hierarchy along with NexGen Clouds vision and future goals through a very well made presentation. The growth that NexGen cloud aims for is highly promising and I am glad to be a part of it.

Support During Challenges:

I must applaud and acknowledge the support NexGen cloud provided me. I was ready to start my official journey at NexGen on 22nd of July. But a nationwide internet outage in my country due to political unrest, which lasted from 19th to 23rd of July prevented me from joining the onboarding meeting. When internet connectivity was restored in 24th of July, I contacted Ana and Noelia and they were very supportive and concerned about my safety. I am very grateful to NexGen cloud for understanding my situation over which I had no control. This positive gesture greatly reinforced my initial impression of NexGen cloud as a company that greatly cares about its employees.

Overall, my initial experience with NexGen Cloud has been exceptional, and I am excited to be a part of this innovative and growing company.
